Click the drop-down menu in Researcher Search and select Organization to search for author records with affiliation to a specified organization.
Selecting an Organization Name
The search uses Organization-Enhanced name values. These are standardized names that capture the variations in how an institution may be captured in a publication.
Organization-Enhanced example:
“University of Manchester” includes the following variants, among others:

Begin typing the desired organization name and select the appropriate value from the list of matches.
The Organization search for Researchers does not accept Boolean operators (e.g. AND and OR).
Selecting Search Options
To refine your search, you can select which publications within the author records are considered.

Most recent publications. Only return author records where the most recent publication matches the queried organization.

Publications within 5 years. Only return author records where publications published within the last 5 years matches the queried organization.

All publications. Return author records that contains any publication affiliated to the queried organization.
Note: Self-reported affiliations on claimed Researcher Profiles are not included in the Organization search.
Refining your search
Organization search results display the list of matching author records in descending order of total publications. The author records may well contain publications affiliated to other organizations.
You can refine your search results using the options on the side, including by
- Affiliation
- Claimed or unclaimed profile status
- Country
- Highly Cited Researcher status
Note: The organizations in the refine list are organization name variants.
In the below example, there are 20,218 author records with a most recent publication affiliated to "University of Kansas" (unified organization name/organization-enhanced) and 20,218 of those contain publications specifically affiliate to "University of Kansas" (organization name variant).
