The Research Commons collection on the Web of Science Platform. The Research Commons database features 10 years of journal content from “open content sources” with a focus on content that is not otherwise indexed in the Web of Science Core Collection.
At launch Research Commons includes content from CrossRef and OpenAlex.
Since the content is indexed from open content sources, it has been collected and is displayed 'as provided'. When possible we've made efforts to standardize author name and affiliation/organization name and link cited references to source records found on the platform. Due to the absence of curation for this collection, not all fields are populated for all records in the collection.

When you are viewing a Research Commons record from within the collection, the Research Commons citation count will be displayed at the top of the record.
