Search in MEDLINE
- Find and select MEDLINE from the Search in drop-down on the simple search homepage in Web of Science
- Chose the field in which you want to search your terms. In the example, we chose MeSH Heading.
Search MEDLINE using thesaurus - Click on the thesaurus icon in the search field.
- Enter a term you want to add to your query and then click Enter or select the Find button. Try typing otitis as an example.
- You can click on the question mark next to each term to get more details.
- You can also see the hierarchy of each term in medical field.
- When you are happy with the selection of the terms from the thesaurus, just click Add to query and your terms will be incorporated and you can search relevant documents on the topic.
